Subject & Predicate

Subject is named in Arabic “المبتدا “while the predicate is names as “الخبر

Definitions

Subject is the noun about whom some information is being reported.

Predicate is the word which gives the information about subject.

For Example:

زید          قائم
Predi.          Sub

Means:                        Zaid is standing.

Note:


1) Subject would be always Noun.
2) Subject would often be at the beginning of the sentence however sometimes may be delayed.
3) Predicate may be noun, verb or a whole sentence.
4) Subject and predicate can be more than one in a sentence.
